As Director of Nursing in Resident Care, you will provide administrative and clinical leadership for the nursing service team members on resident care units. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with our patients, guests, other team members, and medical staff by striving for excellence in service and quality. You will be responsible for:

Accountable for the provision of patient care on assigned unit 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

Maintains the budget for the unit within guidelines by demonstrating financial responsibility for staffing, patient charges, and equipment purchasing/leasing.

Responsible for infection control and performance improvement for the unit and maintains records and submits reports as determined by policy.

What you will need:

• Graduate of a Diploma, or Associate Degree Program; BSN preferred.
Minimum of four (4) years progressive, directly related, acute healthcare organization management experience, or demonstrated leadership competencies following the completion of a Health System sponsored management and leadership development program.
Current RN License to practice in the state of Georgia.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including but not limited to: communication (written and oral), conflict management, organizational, composure, tenacity, teamwork/team building, discipline, coaching. Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
